Jikka, creating places for life

Jikka (Lundén Housing Company) is part of the Lundén Architecture Group. It is focused on streamlining the process of housing design and turning the process into a product. Please visit their interim website, www.jikka.fi for more information. 

Creating places for life, Jikka designs apartments and spaces to meet the diverse needs of people at different stages of life, including design for care homes as well as daycare and early childhood education facilities.  

Jikka also offers design services using the Pulse method, an operating model they developed to make the design and permit process smoother and more efficient– without compromising on quality. 

The Jikka team has experience from over 1 700 completed homes, almost a third of which are made of wood. Their passion is to create functional, sustainable, and resource-wise buildings for everyday life. With a strong emphasis on responsible use of resources, they combine an innovative design approach with solid design and project management expertise, supported by a smooth and well-controlled design process. To further broaden their scope of services, they collaborate with experts from the other subsidiaries of the Lundén Architecture Group, including urban planning, landscape design, interior design and structural design.
